An apprenticeship is the learning stage one goes through before becoming a tattoo artist. I study under Mara, which makes me her apprentice! It begins with understanding and practicing health and sanitary habits, as well as completing a course on bloodborne pathogens. Following this, we then move onto fake skin and volunteers and then starting to take on clients at a reduced apprentice rate!
Currently, my rate is $40/hour, this may change as I learn and grow as an apprentice. However, I will be more than happy to provide an estimate before your appointment and I will always keep my rates updated on my Instagram!
At the moment I will only be tattooing Arms/Legs, this will change throughout my apprenticeship too, but I will keep it updated on my Instagram if it changes!
I’m still finding my own tattoo style, but I love high contrast stylized black work. I really enjoy tattooing animals, foliage, flow-y abstract pieces, and most things nerdy! Anything fantasy, Pokémon, anime, cartoon, or video game related, I’m on board to make it look as cool and bold or as subtle and dainty as you desire!

Yes. Before getting a tattoo you will be required to fill out a consent form with your Photo ID and you must be 18 years of age or older. Please make sure you bring this to your appointment!

If booking flash, provide a screenshot of the piece(s) you are interested in and the approximate size and area. If there are surrounding tattoos, please include a photo!
For custom, provide an approximate size, budget, and a photo of the area. You may include reference images as you please.
Currently, I accept both cash and e-transfer!
Each client is required to pay a $20 non-refundable deposit in order to secure their appointment. Your appointment will not be held for you until the deposit has been paid. The deposit will come off the total at the end of your tattoo session.
Your deposit will only be forfeited if:
⁃ Insufficient notice for rescheduling is provided (less than 72 hours).
⁃ The appointment is rescheduled more than once.
⁃ No call/ no show.
⁃ The tattoo idea is completely changed once booked.
⁃ If you arrive at your appointment unfit** to be tattooed.
⁃ If you are more than 30 minutes late to your appointment without prior notice.
* If we then have to reschedule, another $20 deposit will be needed.
** Arriving intoxicated or under the influence, being underage, pregnant, or with skin that is unable to be tattooed (i.e, sunburnt, scrapes or significant bruising) is considered unfit for a tattoo.
Please make sure you have something to eat and you are well hydrated before being tattooed. You are more than welcome to bring snacks and drinks to your appointment if it is longer too! Please also come prepared in clothing that is easy and comfortable to be tattooed in, or a change of clothes if necessary.
If you are not picking flash, you will see your custom design the week of your appointment! I will provide a sketch and at this stage you can request any changes or additions before I render the final drawing.
Yes, within a year! As an apprentice, it's important for me to understand how my work heals overtime. If you need a touch up don't hesitate to message me, if you are not sure you can always provide healed photos and I will find a date to fit you in, or we could book it in when you have another appointment with me.
